With a growth mindset, however,  a person will embrace challenges, persist in the face of setbacks and consequently improve their outlook. And more importantly for business owners and leaders, achieve growth quicker.

3. Listen to Your Customers

Keeping in touch with your existing clients and customers is a great way to find new ones! Listen (via social media if necessary) to what they like about your service or product. Ask them what improvements you can make, how you can solve their problems or address an issue.

The more you know about your customers, the more they will continue to buy from you and recommend you.

Are you making the most of your client testimonials? Asking for referrals?

4. Marketing is Key to business growth

Have you had a marketing “audit” recently? Checked all your marketing channels are delivering your key messages?

Does your marketing activity say more about “what we do” than “why” you do what you do?

What are you actually offering your customer? How can you solve their problem and what value do you add?

Knowing your USP and being able to communicate your benefits via professional, articulate marketing should help you achieve business growth quicker.

5. Know Your Numbers

Are the financial processes in place to support your business growth plans?

How is your monthly P&L report produced, do you review your balance sheet regularly and how is your cash flow forecast maintained?
